2012 is going to be the tits.
I’ve been working my ass off, getting a lot of poetry written and submitted, and I just have this ~*~feeling~*~ that something is going to get accepted soon. And even if it doesn’t I get to start my rejection letter scrapbook! :O YAAAY.
I’m also green-for-go for Firelight and Steel, as of today I’m embarking on the 16 week journey to getting the rewrite done and prepped for revision, and not too long from there it’s time to start querying! I’m so freaking stoked!
Met a ton of people this last week in the poetry community, and I’m completely overwhelmed. I mean, I’ve always loved writers, but MAAAN!
And we had our first writer’s group a couple of days ago at a local coffee house, and it’s so great to be surrounded by so many like-minded people.
2011 was tough, 2012 is probably going to be tougher, but I’ll be damned if I don’t make it the best year yet.

This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever read in my life. So swearing and villains being villains are a bad influence for children but an unbalanced relationship and a weak female protagonist is not?
